>>> Quarteto Remix was formed by the soloists of the internationally acclaimed 'Remix Ensemble' resident at Casa da Musica Oporto, with the objectives of performing the string quartet repertoire of the 20th and 21st centuries, of providing a high-quality platform for new works by Portuguese composers, and through carefully selective programming of providing audiences with a better understanding of the musical developments of the last 120 years.
>>> In 2008-2009 the group will premiere new works by Daniel Moreira and Greek composer Dimitris Andrikopoulos, present works by established Portuguese composers Alexandre Delgado and Antonio Chagas Rosa, whilst performing a repertoire of pieces ranging from Haydn to Ligeti.
