>>> Angel Gimeno (violin), a native of Venezuela, studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Michelle Auclair, at the Moscow Conservatory with Eugenya Tchugaeva and in Utrecht with Philip Hirschorn. Alongside his work with the Remix Ensemble, Angel leads the Nieuw Ensemble in Amsterdam, in which roles he has worked closely with Berio, Boulez, Donatoni, Harvey, Nunes and Ferneyhough.
