>>> Dimitris Andrikopoulos (born 1971 Larisa, Greece) studied viola in Utrecht, Netherlands, then composition with Tristan Keuris and later with Klaas de Vries in Rotterdam. In May 2002 he won the NOG Price for Young Composers 2002 with the composition 'Antiparathesis for Violin and Orchestra',and in 2004 he completed post-graduate studies in electronic music in Rotterdam where he also won the composition prize of the Rotterdam Academy of Music and Dance. Since 2004 he has taught composition at Escola Superior do Musica e Artes do Espetaculo in Porto. In 2005 he attended the 'Centre Acanthes' in Metz, where he worked with Rihm, Dusapin and Solbiati. One of his special areas of interest is the synthesis of acoustic and electronic sounds.
>>> Daniel Moreira (born 1983 Porto, Portugal) studied guitar and composition at the Porto Music Conservatory. He graduated from the University of Porto as an Economist where he was awarded the Banco do Portugal prize, before recommencing his musical studies at the Escola Superior do Musica e Artes do Espetaculo in Porto. Studying composition with Dimitris Andrikopoulos and Fernando Lapa, and electronic music with Carlos Guedes, he has participated in masterclasses with Klaas de Vries and Magnus Lindberg. His viola piece 'Noctis Lumina' was awarded a prize at the Viotti International Music Competition in Vercelli, Italy.
